Challenge
To prepare an existing home for a great couple of retired professionals whose main goal was to live out the rest of their days in this beautiful lakefront home, while making future maintenance a thing of the past.
Solution
We aligned the owners with just the right architect first, one we knew could bring this home to the next level while keeping its look and charm. We then turned the drawings into a beautiful new second floor with all new bathrooms, bedrooms, windows, and closets. We also brought the laundry room upstairs for them.
Their new kitchen included state-of-the-art appliances and cabinetry; all topped off with coffered ceilings and granite countertops. Installing a new roof, new siding and a brick and bluestone front entry updated the outside.
Outcome
The owners are set to rest their minds and spend the next forty years thinking about anything but home maintenance. Needless to say, they love it!
