Our Mission

Our mission is to provide expert craftsmanship and great value to homeowners who are interested in either building a new home or renovating an existing home. We intend to provide professional service to our clients during all phases of their project. Our ability to handle any project big or small, simple or complex is what sets us aside from most other builders.

Our Process

Our process begins with a simple phone call or e-mail. After a brief conversation, we will schedule an appointment to meet with you at the location where the project is to be done. Owners should have the construction documents (blueprint) at this meeting to review, as well as a list of special needs or requirements that need attention. We will request a copy of all construction documents pertinent to the project at hand. We then start our estimating process, which usually takes a week or two depending on the size and complexity of the project. Once the estimate is prepared, we will call again to schedule another meeting to present our estimate and thoughts for the project. At this time we will answer any questions you might have. After this meeting, we will wait to hear from you. While you review the estimate, we are available to answer any questions or concerns that you might have via e-mail or phone. That is it, you just make one call and we’ll do the rest.

Our Owner

Paradise Knoll Builders, LLC is a licensed and fully insured company owned and managed by Steven Del Colliano. Steven, a master carpenter, has spent over 30 years building and renovating homes throughout Northern Bergen County, NJ. His reputation has been built upon quality work, great client relations and a dedication to ensure that every job is one with which the client will be completely satisfied. Our specialties include: new home construction, residential indoor pools, architectural woodworking, custom wine rooms, additions, renovations and construction management.

Steven is extremely detailed oriented and does not settle for anything less than the very best outcome on all projects. He takes the time to work closely with each client. "I understand that the majority of people do not understand the complexity of blueprints and are unsure of the final outcome. I will take the time to clarify the project in a way that the clients understand the process and the outcome."
